Starter motor problembs I think ?

Hi I'm Wilf
I'm having problembs starting my 110, when I turn the key in the ignition all I get is a "click"
Any Ideas ?

try getting someone to turn the key whilst you have a long iorn bar or hammer depending on access to tap starter at same time as turning key it cooul just be a bit stickey but dont hit to hard i have seen starters smashed this way as you may need it for service exchange unit good luck

ano its daft but are you sure there's plenty of charge in ya battery also check all the electrical connections are tight oh and be carefull when you whack the starter as I told doris to do that once over the phone and when I got home I found out she had used my mini sledge hammer to hit it with so off I went to buy a new one !!!!

Wilf, Not an expert so take my comments as things to think about, they are based on a similar prob I had a couple of months ago.
I tried giving the motor a few knocks with a bit of wood to try to free it up...did not work. Also put the car in gear and rocked it, again to free the motor up...did not work. Eventually got new second hand motor...sorted. Good luck Keith
