Well me and the wife started work on our 90 so i thought id put some pics up for your thoughts here goes

thanks for the great comments, yes the chain went through the wheel then round the bumper, me and the wife , bless her, used old chisels wire brushes and electric drill with wire attachment that took us 3 weeks in total

Great start to the build, Landys are a great introduction to mechanics because they are fairly easy to work on. If you are unsure of anything just chuck a thread up on here ;)

What are your plans for the 90? Weld the chassis and paint the body or dismantle every component?

As for chaining it up, have you considered chaining the wheel to the chassis leg or the spring? It's much harder to remove than the bumper which can just be unbolted very quickly
 
thanks again for the comments, chassis is solid thank god, no welding needed, im having the defender sprayed in bonnatti gray metalic, and seats recovered in black and gray leather, when i get all other bits done
ill keep you all informed.
