sprung dilemma

HI! I have been given a full set of seven leaf leaf springs (seven leafs on both front's and back springs) I think they are from a lightweight (or air transportable if you prefer!) and are in very good nick. I was wondering if they would fit my standard 1983, series 3 swb petrol land rover without to much trouble, i.e. are they heavy enough to take the weight as my ex histing springs are 9 leaf on the front's & 14 leaf's on the back.
any ideas anyone please?

I have a feeling the LWT had different springs to a standard 88. Best way to check is to measure the distance between the bushes. I reckon they'll be strong enough (if they're the same length), coz one thing you can be sure of with the lightweight is IT AIN'T LIGHT! Definitely the most inappropriately named Rover ever
