Hi everyone, just wanted to show you a speedhawk install i finally got around to. I haven't posted in a while as i have only got the jeep back from a 3 month holiday for a lm transmission (long story), but i got 138km out of the 1st one (i think, i'm the 2nd owner).

Anyways to the speedhawk install. I am not connected with them, just just my initial views on it and thought you might like to know how i got on.

Step 1. Disconnected the battery, -'ve first. Waitied 2-3 minutes, for all systems to discharge, may have been longer as i was looking for a few tools.
Step 2. Disconnected front cover and then fuel rail cover ( dont really think you need this step, but had it done, so carried on)
Step 3. Felt around at back of block for LR sensor to disconnect. It is covered in foam all around it, see pic below.
Step 4. Connected LR sensor to speedhawk loom, then connect speedhawk sensor into block.
Step 5. Routed loom from engine around the engine bay, to somewhere where i could access it more easily.
Step 6. Cable ties in the loom.
Step 7. Connect up battery.
Step 8. Turn key in ignition but dont turn on engine, check for green light on speedhawk. Tested remote to turn on and off.
Step 9. I've started with setting 5 so far and all is well, so over the next few days i'll move up the tuning level.

I have to say i was a bit dubious about these, but instantly the acceleration is much smoother on upshift, the power seems more even. Around town i am getting approx. 25mpg, i used to be getting between 16-22, so i think it's working. I shall run on setting 5 a bit longer, but will move up to no 6 soon. I have no long runs yet, but will keep you posted.

I'm not connected with this company or any reseller, but just wanted to pass on my experience.
