Soundproofing

Well what I've just thought of that may work is getting some of that self adhesive acoustic underlay stuff, the put some 3mm or 6mm rubber matting from machine mart over it and seal that with that flashband stuff, I reckon that would be pretty good.
PS, if anyone tries this, tell me if it works.
