Oh I see, abuse and foul language. I think I’m must be in the right place. You seniors sound like down to earth, can’t get the oil out of my finger print kind of people.

This is what the hand written for sale sign said in the window

  • 1987 2.5td
  • Rebuilt using Tdi body & Discovery gearbox
  • P.T.O. winch (working)
  • New battery, alternator, prop. Shaft, brakes
  • New M.O.T & Tax
  • Just serviced
  • New rear door (to fit)

Bought it……

Hope to ask some questions later….

Hope you Land rovers coped well in the flooding. I took mine out to see if it would work with gallons of rain being thrown at it. It didn’t leak too much and the battery light only came on once…..

Thanks

Dave

Hi there, been out in the rain myself today, over an inch in an hour and I didn't have a roof on! It certainly leaked! My old college chief mechanic always said to get your hands clean by inviting the inlaws over after you've made them a plum crumble or homemade bread that you've kneeded by hand.
