Went out this afternoon.

Wife commented that it was revving a lot and going slow.

Was in low range still after an oil change

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
 
Woaah, hopefully you haven't told her it's a minor issue yet? Don't push it too much, but that's gotta be worth the price of a few niceties before it's properly fixed! .. though I'd guess my idea of niceties and yours might be different .. :)
 
Been there, done that!

Taking my sons D2 V8 to the MOT after a major engine swap, got out on the bypass and thought I had a problem, his is auto while mine is manual so couldn't quite place the gearchanges, but stopped and had a look at the transfer box lever and found it was in low range.

Wouldn't work. He touched it therefore any faults occur anywhere in the car for the next 3 years are entirely his fault cause he shouldn't have been stupid enough to touch a car that was going perfectly well.
Don't you know your supposed to wait until the car breaks before you touch it!

Ah, but she was in the car and it was her who noticed there was 'a problem' .. Any court of law would agree that 'the fault' is therefore her fault and he's entitled to fair compensation for having to listen to her ... especially as it wasn't an actual fault just him fully testing all systems, as we all should every so often.

I reckon a new set of tyres maybe, or a chipped ECU ....

I take it your not married then. You seem a tad confused as to who is to blame for everything that goes wrong. :confused:
 
Been married 27 years .. and yes, the wife is always to blame, which isn't, how she usually sees it .. ;)
