I'm planning on fitting rear bench seats to my wee darling. But need your help on a a few things.
  • Are they easy to fit, to a hard top 88" series III, it's got side windows?
  • Seat belts, what are the rules and regulations and again, where would I fit them to? Would I need full inertia reel or can I fit lap belts?

Easy to fit, Exmoor do the complete sets, whats not so easy is getting folks in though without a step.
Not sure about the R&R but I went for the 4 point harnesses in one of mine, but the straps need to be pulled tight to have any effective restraining effect, not so good for kids who moaned even after short distance. :)

why go to exmoor trim when you can get a second hand un for a fiver off ebay

Quite true, but if time is tight and budget allows for it I always go for something that is available off the shelf rather than waiting for the right item to appear and still have no gaurantee of getting it.:)

Ah! Sounds interesting.

I had to order bits and bobs from Paddock so I've gone for one bench so far, at £29, although I'll be looking to get another one soon, so if your spare in the garage is available, maybe I could purchase it from you sir!

I did a search on the site here, and found this:
http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f3/what-legalities-putting-bench-seats-back-110-a-40604.html which includes this

"What are the legalities putting Bench seats in the back of a 110?

Hi All, does anybody know the legalities of putting bench seats in the back of a 110. I will soon be buying my first landy anf im finding it hard to find a suitable 110 station wagon, so im considering getting a standard 110 and fitting seats my self. any help or suggestions would be very apprieciated. Cheers Gareth."

"Inward facing seats are not affected by the MOT test, only forward facing, so seat belts and mountings are not testable. Hope this helps.

I don't think she's had seats in the back before, but I have a drill and B&Q is close for me nuts and bolts requirements.

Cheers

It's really not very often at all that I have children in the back, but I'll bear that in mind.

From what I can find on the web, am I right in thinking that maybe belts aren't needed in the back?

Dat seemz very weird if that's the case!
