Bought a replacement TD5 Binnacle and I upgraded from the mechanical speedo to an Electronic speedo but how do I get the speedo into the binnacle, there is a lip that appears to stop it going in. I guess I'm missing something stupid.

A bit late and you have probably sussed it by now, did you (unscrew) the big clamping ring (the black bit) on the speedo as its still fitted in your pictures
