HI all
Just have got a '96 TDI, toy for the wife, have just got some side steps from a mate but no idea how to fit, can not see any 'standard holes' for the bolts
do you drill the main frame/beam
can I have some guidence on fitting, need desperately, our 5 year olds and grandma struggles to get in but both love the disco

show some photos and someone will know how it goes on...

I fitted mine, 91 classic just 2 months back......1 mounting goes on the body mounts and the other on the outrigger where you'll need to drill a hole...hope this helps..

Thanks for the reply, I will photo tomorrow and see if anyone can help
the two flat flanges that attach to the chassi has 3 hole and 4 holes on the other
I will get underneath tomorrow and have a full look to see what can be done
thanks again

To be honest the sidesteps don't help that much. My mother and aunt use a small plastic stool, of the sort used as a caravan step, which I carry around in the back. More efficient and doesn't get cauht on rocks like my (bent) sidesteps.

try the paddock website for there cheapest plastic topped steps. we had trouble with ours we got of ebay, didnt have a clue, looked on there, the intructions are on a pdf file on the description
