Hello to everyone at landyzone
sorry not sure if i should've posted this question here?
As you can see im new to forums and 4x4's especially discoverys,i'm looking for some advice/help on the what to look out for when buying a discovery. i have a budget of £3500-5000 to spend on a second hand discovery and i've seen some really nice ones but they all have high miles 100,000+ should i be bothered buy this? if not what should i be looking out for?[/FONT]
Also i it will be pulling a caravan from time to time so i have been advised to get the 300 diesel rather then the 200 diesel or the petrol versions as this is a bit more economical.
please can anyone help? im so confused

welocme aboard. you put your question in the disco section yet? if not, i wouldnt worry about the milage too much as long as its been well looked after. 200/300tdi are pretty similar again i wouldnt worry to much about the engine. just find a tidy one thats not got a rusted through chassis or floor, not been offroaded at the upper end of your budget and you should come off well. discos are going dirty cheap at the moment and there are loads about so dont rush!
