just put some boost style alloys on my 1989 '90,went for a test drive,had to rush home to change me kecks,sh*t me self,got to about 50 and felt like the thing was going to fall to bits.the steering wheel was nearly wobbling/juddering/shaking out me hands,they were ballanced and inflated proper.i've done a search but couldn't find anything,could any body advise what the problem might be.(they are genuine l/r wheels)

Has your rear axle got drums or discs??

They wouldn't be off a RR and ye wouldn't be usin' spacers, would ye?
 
The wheels must be out of balance! If the old ones were fine, and everything else fits OK - either that or by coincidence you have suddenly develloped a UJ problem as well. Are they new wheels - and if not, are you sure they're not buckled somehow?
 
he could have upset the pre loads on his swivels ...... different offset un all that crap .... or check the back of the wheels to make sure they are clean of any crap and theys sat flush , if ya get me drift ....
