Here i think
:( right here goes, got a dilemma.last year me mate fought like hell having chemmo and radio therapy to get shut of the cancer.. initially he was told it was a success....but its back and he is now skin an bone and wasting away.his motor is a 2.5 na 110,the poor bugger cannot even drive it because the clutch is now to heavy for him to depress.

so a few questions spring to mind after talking with his missus.

Is it feasible to fit an auto box in it?if so which one and how hard is it to do?

Or is there anything i can do to make the clutch pedal lighter for him?

he loves his motor and its a shame he cannot use it as he used to any help and suggestions will be welcomed

No problem fitting a in-line servo in the clutch fluid line, but tricky to get the right servo.

It works nicely - very light pedal.

i,ll have to have a good look and do some head scratching,do you know anyone with any piccies?
its gotta be done asap as when i take him to New cross monday we aint expecting good news

only person i know who's actually done it is on a Cobra, and you'd not learn anything relivant to a LR - apparently it's actualy a very simple install and that the Lucas one give a 1:90 boost

Pirtek or simillar would be helpfull as i'm sure the pipe fittings would be incompatable

time to get the tape measure out and see what can be made to fit, cause his brake servo is bloody huge(ex un motor),might afta source a remote one as i think it needs to be done sooner than later

from memory the lockhead servo is about half the size of the mor eusual LR ones
cheers for that.gonna have a look at the disability site later as well and weigh all the options up after he as been to see the consultant next week, work the finances out for him etc.
