Hi All,
I've started a thread over in the Series Land Rover section but thought I'd post a link here as it's engine specific:

In summary, I'm refurbing as much of the engine as I can without removing it from the truck (I don't have a hoist and it's parked on a hill).
The plan was to do this in summer but a recent engine flood means I'm doing the head now...
My questions so far are:
2 of the smaller bolts which hold the rocker shaft down have stripped - can this be fixed or is the head screwed?
Also, there is a lot of rust in the waterway of the head:
Can this be cleaned? I assume it should be...
