I know it's been asked lots before but they are old so I'm looking on eBay at conversion kits for defender everything in it £420 whilst the same thing but for a series is £340
For some reason is there much work to fit series3 ones I mean £80 is a big difference I'm Welsh ok but if there is a lot more work I'll fit the proper conversion?

Do they come with all locks and mechanisms? My ex mod has series style doors with military glass. I prefer the look but the functionality of defender style doors is nicer.

The door tops are different on the 90/110 doors, the later door tops are made of extruded aluminium and if the door locks are included, anti-burst locks are more expensive than the early type.

I have Series doors on my Fender, and it was a satraight forward job to take the glass out of the old ones, put them in the new.
I did fit new hinges, screws and glass channel, but retained the old locks.

I have series doors on mine, and have the normal series locks as well rather than the later anti-burst locks. Originally had series door tops but then replaced them with the aluminium military tops when I had saved some more money. There are not many parts to buy and the only difference between the two as already mentioned will be the style of the locks. For that price I seriously doubt either of them have the proper 90/110 aluminium door tops as a pair of them is about that price on their own.
An easy way to tell is series door tops have straight edge to the rear side of the front piece of glass, it is also fixed in place. 90/110/military ones have an angled rear edge to the front piece of glass and the front section also slides.

Can't get a word you say all I want is these conversion but the proper series doors new are cheaper than conversion ones so is there much fiddling to fit them?

They act as both a seal and a spacer.
I( know this because the door tops were slightly shore without them, and theyu at as a channel so that water doesn't soak inside and rot the frames.
