hi guys now im trying to fix the wiper motor on my 2a. i have tested that the wire work with a multi tester so the problem is in the motor.i took out everything and manually held the 2 graphite brushes against the main armature however it does not spin =( . the solenoid at the bottom works(turned into magnet). so im not too sure what the problem is.the graphite brushes got very hot and there were some small sparks but there was no spinning not even abit =(.

here are the pics!

Looking at second picture, - can't see the brushes (should be sitting proud of the holders) - i'd say that the brushes have worn down too much to be of any use. get new brushes and give the armature a clean with a rubber (pencil eraser - if you can get one for ink -which is a bit courser - all the better) - then try again.
