series 2 temp wiring

:doh: Hi all , Has any one fitted a water temp gage to a series2?
How do you wire it, I've got a sensor in the front of the haed but nothing else any help appreciated.

IGNITION live to temp gauge......temp gauge to sensor in head simples ..........dave

thanks 4 that, but soes it matter which way round the wires go on the instrument?

NOT as a rule,,,,,if you gettem wrong you wont hurt anything,,,,you can check by earthing the wire ie live,,,gauge,,, earth,,,, the needle should rise,,,if not try tother way round,,,hope this helps .......dave
