Hi,
I just need to know (quickly please) if the balljoint (which attaches the drop arm to the steering box) can be replaced without replacing the whole drop arm. I've had a quick look and it looks like the joint is swaged onto the drop arm and the adjuster is at the other end (wheel end.) If this is the case then the whole drop arm would have to be replaced.

True or False?
Regards & Thanks

Thanks Battenburg,
Is that just the ball joint or does that include the tube as well. Or should I say, has the tube got it's own part number. I'll try it another way,
does the drop arm or drag link consist of four parts all with their own part numbers, that would include two ball joints one adjuster and the actual link. (not counting the shock absorber/damper)

google these parts: QFS000010 & QEK100120 & QFS100070

seems the drag link and balls are one piece on the short side with clamps listed as different parts and ont the long side two piece.

Rave suggests

drain cooling system
remove steering box

Surely not .... tell me it ain't so ....

sob ...
