Sender Gauge

Can some please tell me where on the tank on a 300 TDI the fuel sender unit is if it is on the top is there a panel on the floor, providing the floor is still solid.

its in yer boot under the carpet round black cover wi screws holdin it in fold the rear OS seat down an yerll see it
