Secondary pump TD4

Hi I'm tempted to buy a very cheap 51 plate freelander .the known faults are secondary pump needs replacing but apparently been driven for a while like it,the boot window doesn't work ,nor does one of the back windows.on this knowledge should I steer clear ? Does it sound like an expensive fix ? Thank you in advance for polite replies
