Schematics please :)

Hey Guys,

Im looking for dimensions for any underbody skid plates and roof cages for a 2002 defender 110, td5, im looking to draw them up on SolidWorks (3d modeling software) so i can give them to a fried to make.

This is perhaps too much an obvious answer, but had you not thought of taking the measurements from yr truck ?? :doh:

I think that must be it. He probably wants to take his dog with him n its gorra be high up in case the waters a bit deep where ever hes goin.

Trouble is stuff like this is either made by a company who want to make a profit, who probably won't give dims out 'cos there's no profit in it ... or by people who make their own to suit what they want, which might not suit you I guess what I'm saying is underbody skid plates are not standard or even normal after-makert things, so I'd guess would be hard to find.

You might be lucky and find a roof cage dim set, sure I've seen one somewhere on the intenet, but it's pretty much same thing ... made for a profit.

LOL, neither do I, all I meant was "Lazy cnut, google it" ...



Had another thought ... Have a look at competition regs, MSA, ALRX etc, they'l have some dimensions on what's allowed and might give some good pointers. If you want the kit for comps anyway you'll need to build to their specs anyhow .
