This is my first posting! I bought a secondhand landorover discovery II from Japan a 2000 model V8 petrol. I drove it continuously for about 1200 km and I encountered no problem. Two days later I was on the road when the engine suddenly cut off and could only restart after about an hour. The problem persisted and I was advised to get a new fuel pump(US$700!).The pump was fitted but the problem continued. Today after the engine cut off, the dashboard displayed 'S' and 'M'. It seems the vehicle is overheating. Any clues as to what I can do?
