Hi.
I'm an expat working in Saudi, so I need to get a vehicle, one of my co-workers is leaving soon and needs to get rid of his car, I need to get one.
So,
I'm getting myself a Landy, so I thought I'd join up to get a bit of advice.

It's a V8 Disco, since I can fill up the tank for about £8, fuel economy isn't an issue. :D

That's one thing I don't miss about the UK

exceptionally jealous, if only it would be the same here! its what i love about central america also, a gallon of fuel for the same was what we pay for a litre.

welcome to the loony bin

I've done a bit of off roading in my time, here and there.
this'll be my third 4x4.
I started in a Suzuki SJ413 in Cyprus, which was tremendous fun (I once pulled a fully kitted out landy 110 when the driver got it stuck, much to his embaressmsnt, proving that it's not what you have, but knowing how to use it that is important) and incredibly competent off road.
I've got at the moment (in the UK) a Mitsubishi Shogun, which I'll be selling to pay for the Disco.
Looking forward to getting it as I've been wanting a Landy ever since I learned to drive.
