Safe to drive until payday?

Got a slight straightening on one of my brake disks (picture attached).
I'll leave you to guess how I did it!
Question is, do you think it is safe to drive for a week or so? I realsi it'll probably not do the pads any good, but is it likely to be dangerous?

I wouldn't risk it, while you may get away with it if the disk were to fracture while driving it would probably instantly lock up as it would jam against the caliper. In addition to making you swerve into oncoming traffic or pedestrians it would also add a caliper to the damaged component list (.and cost). A single disk isn't too expensive, you can always change the other side and pads once funds are available.

Yes it would be dangerous. And always replace damaged parts of the braking system on both sides of the axle, not just the damaged side.

You might be lucky and have a tail wind, either that or a head wind in both directions

Agreed, always change as a full axle set, only mentioned the single disk swap as a temporary measure if it was an emergency with no other transport (or cash) available.

Depending upon why the wheel came off it is worth checking the wheel studs as some may have been overstressed as the wheel was coming loose (if it was only been held on with one or two loose nuts). Might be worth biting the bullet and change all 5 at the same time as the disk, they aren't too expensive for a set (£5-£10) if you have standard (non wolf) studs fitted and are easy to change. Better than have a couple shear in use.
