Hi guys
I replace the engine mount rubbers ( 200tdi with series petrol engine mounts ) just over 2 years ago when i last had the engine out but just noticed the engine is slightly revving more than normal on idle and with it being a 300tdi injection pump fitted i can't see where i can slow it down so just thinking if i could have an engine mount go or on its way out :(

Just make sure the cable has some free play.
The idle screw is on the inj pump, its the one the throttle arms rests against when its ticking over, seconds to adjust.

I don't have a cable i prefer the rod setup but everything is set up right but i've since been told they do have a fast idle so it mite be right but just thought it was odd that its started idling faster thats all

Iirc some 300 pumps had a cold start device down one side with an extra linkage/spring widget set up, engine side of the pump Iirc?

Are right mine has this and seems free enough though but will try and blip it to see if it kicks off ;)
