can someone please help me my disco as developed a problem .it is taking longer to start and starts dying as if there is no fuel geting to it i have blead the system and it help it for abit but went back to doin the same again. i have now changed the fuel filter and re blead the system again and it seemed to have cured it for abit but it stil is not right any ideas:confused:

if bleeding it helps (for a while) then I'd be looking for air getting into the fuel system - so check the fuel lines and unions etc

also check the shut off solenoid isn't sticking or just partially opening

Have you renewed that fuel filter recently, it maybe blocked!!

Like others have checked, check the fuel lines for kinks or splits.......

Can't be anything too major its a landrover after all!!

thanx 4 the help i just checked the prices 4 the lift pumps and they only bout 25 quid so its not 2 bad i have only ad my disco bout 7 months n this is the first problem ive had other than this i am more than happy with it dnt no wat i would do with out it now

try the spill return pipe between the injectors, these sometimes perish beneath the cover around them, it did help with mine and i noticed a bit of a difference in mpg aswel, only about 4 quid for a bit of pipe and may cure your problem.
