Good morning/evening depending when you want to embrace yourself with my rant and hate for land rover at this current moment in time.

Bit of background about the Range Rover. I purchased it last March and 6 weeks after ownership it developed an electrical fault where when driving the Temp and time would go off in the in the top of the Dashboard. Then the satnav screen shuts off and finally the temperature controls for inside the car go blank and shut off. Oh - Aswell as a few other things such as windows don't go down, indicators do not show any flashing and nor does it register the key inside the car and brings multiple amigo's on the dash.

Took it to Stratstone Nottingham Land Rover, and after 6 weeks of diagnosis it turns out it needed a 'new' centre console. Downside to that is that Land Rover them self didn't have any as they were on back order.. Yay..

So anyway, that sorted it and did 8,000miles around Europe 4 days after receiving it back.. it was planned the year before :/

A month ago the same thing happened and I took it straight back, they had it for 2 weeks, but cleared all fault codes first and used it to see if it happened - to which it didn't.. the fault also got logged a day before my warranty expired (Abraxxis). They told me right from the start the fault wouldn't be the instrument cluster (even before they had code read it by the way) the parts not been in for 9 months or more. They told me to take the car as they couldn't log any faults so I rang my warranty and they gave me 7 extra days to test, to which again it didn't.

Until a week and a half later..

Last night driving home from work, the same thing happened again. As I am out of my warranty the fault has only gone and done it once again the same fault and issues as previously with the Dash lights and Sat/Nav screen.
Oh so much fun I can barely contain my excitement.

If anyone wants to earn a few quid or to be used as a punch bag then please comment.

Oh by the way, my names Dale and I'm located in Long Eaton if anyone wants to come and rob my car..

That doesn't read well. Did you own the car from new? With a fault which kept coming back like that you should have considered extending the warranty fer a year at least. It's an eggspensive vehicle with eggspensive parts.

Normally when yer extend a lr warranty it continues as the last period runs out. As yours has a recurring fault, which is documented and repairs attempted during warranty but still not fixed, yer may be able ter get them ter eggscept the fault is still there and repair it under warranty if yer were ter eggstend it.

That's all assuming it's a lr warranty.
