Right thought I would pop this on here before Ebay.
1989 Range Rover Classic 2.5 Turbo D with the VM engine.
Bought this to tidy up and convert to a TDi but needs too much work for me.
It needs a bucket load of welding inc rear floor, rear crossmember and rear inner arches, footwells and sills and the inner wing need redoing as they have been repaired but its not very good.
Needs a lift pump as it leaks needs the fuel pipes from the tank as they leak and needs batterys.
Headlining no good as you would expect.
The paint is tatty and faded with some corrosion in places but there are no major dents and the panels seem fairly straight.
Tyres ok but wheels need a refurb.
Has a lift kit on looks like 2 inch.
The grey cloth seats are in good condition but could do with a quick clean.
The engine runs and pulls very well with no overheating issues as far as I can tell.
The gearbox is nice and dosnt pop out of gear and the diffs sound ok.
It still has some MOT till the end of the year thou God only knows how it past last time.
This sound bad and to be honest it is but has to be worth a bit in parts.
Needs to be trailered away as interior is out and no rear floor.
May break if enough interest as engine and box must be worth the asking price.
