re: RR Classic 1991 3.9 Auto

I have tried to contact RPI with reference to one of their sports exhaust
systems as a possible replacement. I have completed the on-line enquiry form
and received no reply, telephoned them to be greeted with an answering
machine, i left my details and no reply, sent them a letter to which again I
have no reply..............

Are they still in business???????

If not, where else would be a good company to look for a sports exhaust
system, preferably twin tail pipe outlet?

Most likely, but also most likely to be making so much money that they
couldn't care! many years ago I used to buy parts from them, but I stopped
because they didn't care about you once they had your money. Just my
personal experience, no doubt there will be those who have had happy
dealings with them.

Try Rimmer Brothers, or Double S for starters, they both advertise in the
comics. I had a rimmer system, wasn't brilliant but wasn't crap either, have
heard that the double s ones are a bit better. Anyone care to comment?

Rimmer Bros, Lincoln. Delivered mine next working day, good quality, very
satisfied. Double-page ads in all the comics. Mind you, I had a 3.9 cam
kit for the trialler from Rpi last year and they were good too.

My experience too. I think you may deal with them once only. Not at all
interested once your cheque has cleared!

dunno what's on my disco, but the stainless-ness looks pretty limited. Some
bits are obviously stainless, some look to me not to be. Makes a nice
noise, though :)
