Rotational Knocking at the front end of TD5

Hi

I wonder if you could help? I have a knocking noise at the front of my TD5 which seems to slow down and speed up with the rotation of the wheels. Could this be a UJ problem? Many thanks

the "could be" list is very extensive, you will have to narrow it down some. :doh:

Is it drivetrain or engine? does it make the noise when engine is under power or on overrun?

If its underpower only then it could be drivetrain related. You need to explore further. Take the props off and work out if its from an axle or from the T/box in general.

note: obviously i ment take the props off individually, not at the same time.
