Has anyone had an issue adjusting the screws so that there is max clearance between the base of the screws and the top of the injectors. They seem to just strip… thought id ask before drilling them out. Thanks.

Well, as it says to replace them anyway, why not simply remove the rocker arm, and then discard the screws. replacing with new?
while you are in there anyway.....

have you seen how much they are o_O:)
Well in that case, he could remove the rocker arm and have at it/them on the bench.
Once the nut is off he could use freeing off solution, like a mix of ATF and Acetone, or other freezing type stuff, or heat.
Tapping the head of the screw, with the nut in place at the top to prevent damage to the thread.
We all know the common techniques. But all much easier with the shaft off.

He hasn't told us why he wants to play with them and I don't recognise the page in the manual, having looked it up in my Haynes.

Oops, just reread the other thread from the top, I think we have to assume he has done a head gasket change, or an injector seal and O ring change.

Page number 2A.9 on my Haynes manual. Don't recognise the page he put up.
