reverse work lamp

hey guys!

how easy would it be for a complete novice to wire my work lamp so that it comes on when I reverse my deepender? anyone done this before?

I am lookin into doin this aswell, was gonna get a relay (same as one for spotlights) run a separate power and earth to it and use the wire from the reverse light switch as the signal to switch it on when reverse is engaged.
Just need to figure out how to wire a switch to it so i can also have it on without having to put on ignition and put landy into reverse
