Hi All,

I have just purchsed my first Land Rover Disco - 1997 2.5 Diesel. I love it!

I have noticed that the rev counter works, but kind of 'bounces' up and down when driving, never gets above 2,000 revs and is never consistent at a steady speed. The drive is still perfect, drives absolutely fine. I am just worried about the rev counter and want to sort it.

When i put the car in park / neutral, the rev counter stays perfect. When i do rev in neutral, it flicks up and down but again, the engine sounds perfect with no issues.

Its really hard to discribe, so apologies for not being too clear. If anyone has any ideas or things too check, that would be great!

I really appreciate your help.
Thanks
Ryan
