Found antifreeze on the passenger footwell under the ducting, not much but it's a certainty that it'll be the heater matrix.
Best to do it now before we get back into the cold weather again so I've looked at the RAVE manual re removing the dash and although a little complex it seems doable.
However , I recalled this thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f57/wet-floor-93696.html where " zoom " on reply no 6 said that it can be done in situ by substituting suitable flexible heater pipe and jubilee clips.
The concept seems understandable and with the use of good quality hose and jubilee worm drive clips should be up to the task.
My question is , with the number of FL's that have required a replacement matrix has anyone either done it with the flexy hoses or had it done for them that way ? and if so was it an acceptable and cost / time saving exercise ?
