Hi all

I am just about to start replacing the drivers side out rigger.

Have bought the replacement today. Any ideas what to do next?

I have taken the floor mats out of the drivers side and i see several screws i take it by taking these out i can get to the top of the cross member?????

Cheers

James

Any tips gratefully received as I too need to do this job next weekend. Does anyone know the dimensions of the bulkhead bolt so i can get a replacement before i cut the old one off?

The original ones on mine were 1/2" X 7", but I replaced them with M12 X 180. You'll have to take the transmission tunnel off then the floor out, but you still won't be able to get at it very well I reckon you'd be better off taking both the inner and outer wings off an even then the bulk head footwell gets in the way.

Be carefull when you weld, the loom to the rear lights runs down the chassis in there, when I replaced my tube outrigger I ran a garden hose into the chassis and just gave it a blast of water every now and again to keep things cool.
