Hi folks , I am new to this forum and need a bit of advice please. I have got my lovely old Land Rover Discovery 1995 TD1 auto who I love with all my heart. (she had a rebuilt engine about 30 k ago before I got her) she is perfect , starts /runs like a dream. I have just bought a little house in France but keeping my house in Devon and will be backwards and forwards spending 6 months in each country. I have taken my Discovery over there and want to leave her there and register her as French as I have use of another vehicle her in UK . so.....I need to know
1) I need to change the headlights to conform to driving on the right . Anybody know what the part numbers will be and where I trustworthy place to get them and how much ? local land rover garage says they can get them but the original ones on it must be marked "Corrello" ( at a cost of £112 plus Vat each) .. and my vehicle is in France so I cant look to see !
2) How do I get a "Certificate of Conformity" (apparently it has to be original document not a photo copy and in French)
I have phoned local Land Rover and they haven't a clue.
