Recon PAS box

Good afternoon, I have got a 3 stud PAS box in my 110 that has a bit of trouble keeping fluid in it! It leaks from the seal at the bottom, been looking at recon ones on the paddock web site as they look reasonable money wise. Only thing is I was told by not to put a recon one in as it will leak with in couple of months, but it seemed like it was a service exchange part so I'm confident it will be ok. My question is this, has anyone had any problems with recon boxes or is my mate talking nonsense

Just put new seals in mine for a tenner plus some careful shaft cleaning time (ooo eerrr missus) - not leaking yet........ A
