good evening one and all. Rear wheels squealing like a good girl on turning fairly hard left and right is this the sign of expense to come ?

Rear wheels on mine churn up the gravel when turning on full lock either left or right. Led me to think VCU was fooked. Did all the usual checks, sweated a lot, checked bank balance, spoke to loads of people in the know and drove other Gaylanders both new and older. Have now convinced myself that it is the nature of the Gaylander.
Upshot of it is (I think...) on full lock front and rear wheels are turning at different speeds, so VCU starts to do its job and lock up (I am happy to be corrected here as this is the fruit of my research so far), this is turn leads to the 'scrubbing' or squeeling from the rear as more drive is transmitted to the back wheels.
Easiest check to do is the chalk line across both props. If line stays aligned after a drive then VCU is locked. If lign doesn't then all SHOULD be OK.:)

many thanks for reply, sorry for delay in responding. Irish broadband here in mounts, is not always on
