Rear door stuck ????

Good soaking with wd40 usually sorts it out. You might need to prise off the LR badge so you can push the handle down and wiggle it up and down to let the wd40 get where it needs to be.

common problem. prise out the Land Rover badge with a small screwdriver or stanley knife. Squirt loads of WD40 in. Then push handle down with big screwdriver and operate a few times til its free again. Get used to it it happens a lot.

aw ya beat me to it Hughesy, just trying to be helpful.... If it wont open from the inside either then it might be the spring in the latch mechanism. That will need the door card taking off and the catch dismantling and new spring (ebay £4.50) There is a thread on here about it I'm sure.

if the spring has gone in the lock mechanism then the door will open from inside but not the outside. i changed this spring last month after my rear door handle packed in. it is a b*stard of a job to do as the catch is hard to get out and a complicated set up so make sure if you do have to change the spring use the camera on a phone to get piccies of where the rods attach to. it makes is a lot easier to put back together.

my catch sometimes gets stuck up. i slide a key inbetween the catch and the handle and lever the catch down.

Not sure if you meant tailgate wont open, but just in case prise the land rover oval off and spray with wd40 or similar, this will do the trick.
