Morning,

So, I started changing the bushes yesterday on the rear lower link that had failed.

I had noticed the PO have not fitted a washer on the axle side of the top bush, and this had allowed the arm to try and push through the attachment plate.

Having removed the link by cutting thru the axle end bolt , which was well and truly seized in the sleeve. I removed all the bushes and started reassembly. Only to find joy of joys that the std flo flex bushes I have do not fit....Why you may ask??

Well it would appear the std rod have a 20mm diameter shaft for the bush to sit on, and these HD cranked arms are approx 28.5mm. :(

Spoke to Gwynn Lewis to see of they were the suppliers only to find they keep theirs at 20mm.

So does anybody know where I can get a set of chassis end lower link bushes plus washers that have a 28.5mm internal diameter? other option is buying a new set of cranked arms.

Hi Gary,

Thanks, But I have the flo flex bushes, it is the actual lower link that is the issue, as the diameter is tooo large. Has been suggested that there might be a seized on sleeve, but it seems not and the shank has a greater diameter, which I believe bearmach on investigation have made to fit their bushes.

Cheers
