Got same flat metallic click on mine, sounds to be from centre. Does it same on left and right lock but not in a straight line. Suspect a diff mount but not sure until i lift it up this week. Ill post if i find summat.

mmmyes could be that i replaced the front one on the diff last year and still looks ok even the back 2 look ok so dont think it can be them

Just been under mine and theres about 1/8" of vertical play in the left hand diff mount. Try holding both half shafts and rock alternate sides up and down. Mine seems to be either in the mounting bolt or the big rubber damper on top.

hi there is ment to be movement in the bushes or do you meane when you rock the drive shafts you get a click

Eyup, Yes there is a click when i rock the driveshafts that comes from the big horizontal rubber donut or possibly through the mounting bolt bush.

Have you checked the mounting bolts a torqued up properly?
There could be wear on the mounting bolt bush liner or bolt if it's making a noise.....when theyre tight they shouldn't move.....all movement should be taken up by the rubber bush.
I'd take it off and check for wear as if the bush or the bush bolt liner has gone it will only get worse.
