Not so easy on a 110 TD5. Having done this job on most of my cars l bought the parts (caliper, pads, disc) made a brew and took off the wheel.

Ah....the disc is on the back of the hub. So a quick trip to buy a hub nut removal tool.
Where is the nut though? Behind that flange with the cap full of rusty powder.
So out with the driveshaft....they never said there was a gasket when l bought the brake parts! Back to the lndy "anything else l will need?" "No"
Disconnected the brake line and my golf tee was too big to go into the pipe and stop the fluid coming out.
A quick search located a bleed nipple dust cap which did the job.
Off with the caliper...but what are these bolts? "Called the lndy "you need a twelve point socket"
Obtained that, which they very kindly lent me, damn the bolts are tight, hub off....more of these bolts holding the disc on.
Different size of course. Bolts removed and disc would not come out. Tapped it with a hammer and it fell off, coating the wheel bearing in rusty flakes of metal.
Cleaned everything up and...how tight is the hub nut supposed to be "as tight as you can get it"
Not convinced l tightened it as much as l could and it ended up exactly where it was before l took it off.
So undid it and fitted a new nut (as you have to tap one bit into a flat on the axle)
Now for the other side, 9pm by this time. Finished the "only a three hour job honey" at 11.40pm after six hours and a thankfully easy brake bleeding session with my superb Sealey pressure bleeding kit.
Oh...new driveshaft to fit this weekend. The other side had got a bit of diff oil reached it so had no wear.
At least that's an easy job.

At least you didn't round the caliper bolt heads which lots of people do before they realise.
Rounded brake nipple fittings is another pleasant surprise....you got off lightly really:D
