Hi to all.. im a newly registered member, although i have been looking for various faults, sympoms & repairs on this forum for over 12 months..
I have a freelander 1,, 1.8 petrol & i have the dreaded 3 Amigoes lit up on the dash.:doh:
Now as ive said ive been looking/ researching the site to rectify the problem so i took the car to a Landrover Garage today to hopefully get some codes off the diagnostic machine thinking it would be an easy fix by replacing a wheel speed sensor but NO..
The guy who tested it said there were pages of codes that had accumulated & all had been cleared appart from one & it is ..ECU Ground or Reference Ground Fault ???
when i quizzed them.. what.. how long & how much.. they shrugged their shoulders & said i would have to leave the car for the day so they could dig deeper.
Has anybody ever had such an ABS problem before i feel this is gonna cost a fortune...HELP
