I fitted new rear discs, calipers and pads to my 110 TD5 last week.
Since then there's a loud tinny rattling when l am on anything other than a smooth road.
As soon as l apply any pressure at all to the brake pedal the rattle stops.
So what did l do wrong? I fitted the anti rattle shims/springs and put copper grease on everything.
The shims had a C-shaped hole and l wondered if l have fitted these the wrong way round? There were no instructions.
