Range Rover Essex Meet

Chaps, just wondering if any Essex Range Rover drivers would like to meet this summer, maybe 1 evening, at a large pub?

It would be good to see other Range Rovers, all ages of car, modified or standard, full off roader style, standard, or like minebig wheels, and big stereo.

So many other marques have their meetings, and i have been to many over the years, and have always been a laugh. Iam no spring chicken, and am not looking at cruising a seafront, or worst still trying to race Range Rovers up and down the A127, but just a drink and talk to other enthausiasts

Might be interested depending on when n where, could be good to put faces to names as there seems to be a few in the Essex area.

yes i agree good idea. there is a big pub with large parking in harlow, called the moorhen. has good food and on a river as well.easy access from M11 and A414.

Chaps there has been some uptake here and a couple of other RR forums. At first thinking this is a good idea, i now relise, that at some point i will have to do something about it. well here goes. below are 2 dates and 2 venues. either venue is good, but i have been to a meet at the horse and groom in chelmsford, and it is a fantastic location, central in Essex, for thos of you that don't know it it is a country pub 5 mins off the A12 by chelmsford, it has a big grass car park, which backs on to a village green, with the pub garden, right in front of the car park, which is surrounded by woodland, you would get some lovely pictures of the cars, the pub and grounds are really child and dog friendly (obviously all welcome).

so lets see how easy this is to organise. put your name by a date, and which venue you prefer. if none of the below is suitable, please indicate what would be a better alternative

Horse and Groom A12 NR chelmsford (H&G)
Dick Turpin A127 NR Basildon (DT)
Any Pub (AP)

ah right i forgot about that one on the common behind the running mare, yeah thats a good spot, the dick terpin is a bit over done if you ask me

Either the H&G or DT, but I would prefer the H&G as its a much nicer location.

What about this. Monday 25th August 7pm at the horse and groom on Galleywood common Chelmsford. this is about 5 mins away from the A12 turn off for chelmsford. Below is the link to the pub. its really good for car meets.
