Literally just got in from fitting my raised axle breathers, they went on fine but in the kit I got there is 2 silver allen headed screws....guessing these are wading plugs, do they fit to the tbox and gearbox?

I've read theyre supposed to be fitted for wading only, I slung them in the centrebox for safe keeping but forgot to look underneath the Disco to see where they went

If i'm right and they are for the gbox and tbox, when should they be fitted and removed?

Its a 95 300TDi manual Disco by the way...

Paul

they are for your gearbox and timing belt casing.

the hole for the gearbox is really clear to see, the one for the timing belt is underneath, between the belts and the engine sump

before wading...and removed after.

dont need to be removed straight after though, but if you are going to spend a day out playing in the water and mud, put them in, when you finish take them out
