Do you have a drill and a 1/2" BSP tap ?

more likely 1/4bsp , if it is bsp get a brass plug and o ring

The add says its 6cm long, but as its available get the proper one and all`s good
looking at your pics there was a steel washer which is probably what made it fail use an o ring.

Watch the spring clips dont self ejectninto the grass outside they are really good at that.....
Put a bit of oil on the jubilee clips before hand and they'll come off a treat..

Alloy or steel?
The alloy ones can be cut easily with nail pliers..
Then there isn't a moving blade near the rubber but just a chomping scissor like tool...... With care as you'd expect

Yes I may cut them. As those spring clips can be hard to get and fail

Shame you had to take the rad out just for that but at least its had a coolant change and the clips done and you know whats been done

Had to remove the rad. Used an extractor to retrieve the broken drain part. Needed to drill into it. So not much choice. Taking that radiator out is 10 minutes. Easy job tbh
