question about a bar

some one drove into front of freelander sat. in a transit and banged up the a bar.i think it stc7930 number. i have found out its been replaced by stc 7930aa, this is a foam type. what i want to know is if i remove old one and dont replace is there blanking plates for the holes left or if i fit this new type will it cover up the exisiting holes, also where do you fit driving lamps with new type as they dont seem to have fixing points.another soluition is is there a after market a bat that will fit thesame as old one. Sorry this is long and boring but help would be appreciated. thanks.
