Pretty sure they are exactly the same except a couple of aux items. I think the puma's were recalled on an oil pump failure but I don't remember the transit getting the same recall. Is there a price difference or something?

There is a pretty big difference in the price of parts depending if you go to LR or Ford.

I'm guessing Ford will be cheaper? We have a similar situation when maintaining my dad's Jaguar X-Type (yes its a mondeo in drag - I know)

You say that but jag are cheaper for things like a EGR valve then ford! They must put there prices up as it's a common problem and there's a lot More mondeos then x types on the road
