Quick one for anyone who may have a propshaft knocking about

I need a 32.75" closed length at max front prop on the series so I was wondering if anyone had either a salisbury rear, disco rear or 110 rear prop that they could measure and see what the length is so I can see if any of them would fit

I have a rear Disco 1 with no rubber, will measure tomorrow if someone not done before:)

Disco rear prop 200tdi type fully closed 34 3/4 inch just measured the spare I've got (had a custom length one made for mine as got 4" lift) so too long for you then

Couldn't you cut down the disco one? Female piece of the slide end?

Turn the cut end down on a lathe so the gaiter fits back on. Move the grease nipple if needed

No but nice to keep yet grease in and dirt out... If you shorten it you'll cut the bit off that it mounts on.

If I didn't have acces to a lathe I'd cut the prop down and make it the appropriate length. I'd then get myself down to Gsf or somone and but a universal steering rack gaiter and clip it on. Job done.

its just a couple of jubilee clips so as long as you tighten it up right it shouldn't come away easily, I'm going to see about making an old 110 one fit I think as I can get one of them cheap from the local place

If not same goes for the disco prop and I can get it cut down and welded up again as it only needs to lose 2" off that

I've just measurd my front prop

Stood on its end fully closed .from flange face to face 79cm,

obviously flanges move but thats the ball park

Similar length to mine then with the R380 LT230 combo, you got a tiny prop shaft on rear too ?

Mines about 390mm on the rear or 15 1/2" so probably 15" for ease of fitting

Front one needs to be 33" max so 32 3/4" is best bet again for ease of fitting

yours is on leaf springs wot have more forward and back ward axle movement than arms so leave your self some slack
